REVEALING EXPERIENCE IN A BARBER SHOP
A few days ago, I stepped into a hair cutting saloon with prior appointment. A middle-aged lady welcomed me and said she was my hairdresser. After a few pleasantries she started cutting my hair and started talking on various subjects. She even went to the extent of talking about Manhattan project and Professor Robert Oppenheimer. Stunned by her ability to talk so well I enquired about her past. She was ahigh school teacher for 23 years teaching science and history. After retirement she has taken up a hair dressers job. Being born and brought up in a prestige-soaked country Molly’s (my hairdresser’s name) tenacity and determination to work and live is a great inspiration and revelation for me. This can happen only in a great country called United States of America where I am a permanent resident.
As a parting compliment Molly told me “The way you were talking I could make out that you are a high-profile person”

Once again a very interesting blog from ProfKAB.His interaction with many people in USA has been inspiring as has been detailed in the past blogs also.A person may choose a main profession during his/her active phase of life but take up differently new profession upon retirement but be happy& active in old age as in case Molly the Heroine of this blog.The point is Society must help people to do what they want at various stages of life as is possible in USA.The message to all is WORK IS WORSHIP irrespective of age that only grants salvation to human beings.We all thank you ProfKAB for inspiring people of all ages to plan for the elderly age graciously.
